DISCLAIMER: This recap of theLetterkenny International Women’s Day episode has spoilers. Figure it out, bud, and proceed at your peril.

Happy International Women’s Day! How’re ya now? Good, ‘n you?Letterkennyblessed us with an homage to women for a special episode. “Letterkenny Celebrates International Women’s Day” is unadulterated Letterkennywith a touch more heart and warmth than its usual fare.

While Season 10 felt somewhat deflated (still funny, though), the show’s International Women’s Day episode is a return to form. The jokes land, the gags are excellent and everyone fires on all cylinders. The “anti-beauty pageant” is a fun angle that not many shows could execute with such love and admiration.

We open with the women of Letterkenny, competing in the anti-beauty pageant for the ages. Sponsored by BRODude!

So, vying for the coveted title of Miss MoDeaniality is ole Gailer (Lisa Codrington), Tanis (Kaniehtiio Horn),Mrs. McMurray (Melanie Scrofano), Mary-Anne (Jess Salgueiro), Mia-Sofia (Julia Bertin) and newcomer Lucy-Anne (Elise Bauman). Sorry, folks, Betty-Anne is out of commission.

Of course, none other thantheBonnie McMurray (Kamilla Kowal) serves as pageant host, with Katy (Michelle Mylett), Rosie (Clark Backo) and Emma, aka the BRODude Rep, aka Tanis’s lady love and business partner (Vanessa Matsui), serving as judges.

Meanwhile, at MoD3an’s, Squirrely Dan (K. Trevor Wilson) assembles Wayne (Jared Keeso), Daryl (Nathan Dales), Jimmy Dickskin (Alex McCooeye), McMurray (Dan Petronijevic), Stewart (Tyler Johnston), Roald (Evan Stern), Jonesy (Andrew Herr) and Reilly (Dylan Playfair) for a crucial International Women’s Day lesson. Professor Tricia (Nazneen Contractor) will teach them all about IWD and why it’s vital to honor the women in their lives.

Next, Bonnie introduces the first event of the anti-beauty pageant: “Least Congenial Thing You’ve Ever Done.” Katy and the judges stress they don’t want to vomit, but these anecdotes should be pretty icky. Mary-Anne kicks off the festivities with a bloody tale of period woe. Remember in ’07 when everyone’s periods synced together? Every grocery store clerk sure does.

Mary-Anne and the contestants disclose to the audience what they used to plug the dam during that ladies’ hygiene products shortage. Believe it or not, socks are a popular choice.

The topic of discussion morphs into bodily fluids expelled during sex or otherwise. Mrs. McMurray reveals she partook in bukkake (if you desperatelyneedto know what that is, here ya go), making the crowd squirm. But it’s her reveal that she forked The Ginger and Boots, followed by Boots and The Ginger forking an ostrich which garners Mrs. McMurray a victory. Loads of gagging from the judges for that one.

Later, the men of Letterkenny seem enthralled by Professor Tricia, and before the lesson commences, she changes into more comfortable clothes. The dudes watch, entranced, as Professor Tricia does this in front of them.

Then, she has our boys give a speech about a woman they admire.

Roald leads the charge, gushing aboutCeline Dion, the pride of Quebec. Unsurprisingly, all the men voice their collective admiration for our fave French singer. She’s an international treasure. Roald also not-so-subtly hints at his undying love for Stewart (STRT), who sinks awkwardly in his seat while everyone stares at him. Dear Letterkenny, make STRT bi, please. Give us Roald and STRT!

Meanwhile, Jonesy and Reilly admire their Tinder dates because it’s all about those big city slams, boys, especially on International Women’s Day. Ferda! It’s the most feminist thing you can do.

Now, Bonnie ushers in the next event — Filthiest Mouth Competition. We know Mary-Anne doles out filthy insults like she’s on the clock, but once again, Mrs. McMurray blows the competition out of the water (well, maybe after a few more gin and tonics) with a putrid mitt taunt that gets the whole room laughing.

Squirrely Dan, who reminds me of Hermione Granger whenever he asks for Professor Tricia to call on him, shares his favorite lady to the class: Kim Cattrall. Sure, he’s more of a Charlotte, but everyone loves Samantha! McMurray admires his wife, to the surprise of no one. He’s hot for her slot! Despite their open marriage agreement, McMurray wishes it was more monogamous.

Next, our gals strut their stuff for the third event — Tackiest Dress. We see them walk the runway in their tackiest garb, flaunting it because they’ve got it.

Daryl reveals his pick as Roberta Bondar, Canada’s first female astronaut, among many other things. Wayne is an avid Bondar fan who expresses his love for her quite vehemently.

STRT dances his way toward Professor Tricia, clearly flirting with her. He chooses his woman crush as Christine Sinclair. In his professional auctioneer voice, Jimmy Dickskin rattles off a lengthy list of women he admires. Oh, Dickskin!

Later, the judges crown the winner of the anti-beauty pageant. Mrs. McMurray is Miss MoDeaniality! She delivers a slightly slurred speech regarding her win and dedicates it to her fellow contestants. Aw! Mrs. McMurray decides to share her victory with the ladies of Letterkenny.

Lastly, Wayne tells the class he looks up to his sister Katy. Keesokills mewith his physicality and line delivery. Wayne isn’t comfortable wearing his heart on his sleeve, and it shows.

With Professor Tricia’s encouragement, Wayne and the guys head to the BRODude anti-beauty pageant to tell the women in their lives how they feel. Wayne reveals he admires and loves Katy, and he should remind her of this more often. Katy’s eyes well up with tears, and they hug it out.

Rosie, Dary and Squirrely Dan join for a group embrace. It’s a tender, super soft moment.

It’s rare whenLetterkenny“has me up in my feels,” as the kids say, but this outing honors women with the show’s biting, whip-smart wit, frequently filthy yet creative language and mushy gushy love. We finally met Professor Tricia and saw Squirrely Dan in his element as the teacher’s pet. Scrofano churns in one of her best performances as Mrs. McMurray — it’s gin-and-tonic-soaked hilarity.

I hope we get more episodes in the future that hone in on the women because they’re damn hysterical.

On another note, this season sorely lacked Glen, Ron and Dax, so Keeso andJacob Tierney, if you’re reading this (and I know you are), please remedy that for next time. Thank you!

All episodes ofLetterkenny are currently streaming on Hulu.
