In early days Trek manufactured bikes 'in house' in Wisconsin and distributed under the brands Gary Fisher, LeMond Racing Cycles, Klein, and Villiger Bikes brand names. Nearly all Trek bicycles frames are currently produced in Taiwan, Cambodia and China.

Trek Bicycle has announced that it will be relocating premises for UK operations, remaining in Milton Keynes where the brand has been based since the late 1990s. As part of this move, the brand has taken the decision to “streamline distribution in the UK” and as a result, will be closing its UK warehouse.
